Aims & scope

The EGU General Assembly 2021 will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience. We aim to organize the EGU General Assembly 2021 as a hybrid on site and virtual meeting; see the provisional format for more details. The EGU is looking forward to cordially welcoming you at its General Assembly.

Timeline

2 July – 11 September 2020: Public call-for-session-proposals (incl. short courses)

24 June – 22 January 2021: Townhall meeting requests

20 October 2020: Start of call-for-abstracts, support application, and splinter meeting requests

1 December 2020: Deadline for support application

13 January 2021: Deadline for receipt of abstracts
