On June 7, the third subject group of the key deployment program of Chinese Academy of Science “Development and Application Test of Taihu Lake Water Quality Goal Management Platform” held the platform prototype system design seminar at Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology. About 10 backbone members from Taihu Lake Water Resources Protection Bureau, the using unit of the platform and the representatives of users, Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, the program responsible organization, and the Ecological Environment Research Center of Chinese Academy of Science attended the meeting.
The meeting was held by Lin Chen from Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology and centered on the platform prototype system function design and the joint between the platform and the mold. The platform research group first introduced the upgrading design of the platform prototype to the attendees. Zhou Ya, the representative of users, put forward valuable amending suggestions according to the management need of her own organization. Later, the platform research group and the mold supervisor discussed problems including the management of the input data of the platform mold one by one. The meeting decided that the platform research group would arrange a data investigation of the user unit Taihu bureau so as to figure out the data details and identify the types and pre-processing methods of the mold input data. Besides, the user units agreed to help the research group to collect basic information of the river water quality, flux station and sewage outlets in Taihu lake catchment.
The meeting identified the positive operator function and working process of the platform, further promoted the researching and development of the goal management platform for Taihu Lake water quality and promoted the development of key programs.
